About Tooned-in
Comedy Masquerading as News
A cartoon news anchor, a writers’ room with questionable judgment, and the internet’s most absurd headlines.
The show
Tooned-in with Shawn Geekory takes the stories clogging your news feed, the Florida Man arrests, billionaire tantrums, corporate tweet fails and fart NFTs, and runs them through a cartoon news desk with no filter and even less dignity.
Every episode is a few minutes of real headlines delivered by a fake anchor, written and animated in-house as a fall-down, rickety production by Square Box Cube Media.
Meet Shawn Geekory
Shawn is the bald, goateed, suit-wearing anchor who reads the news so you don’t have to, then makes it sound even more ridiculous. He is backed by a staff that includes fashion correspondent Trisha Geekory and an executive producer who also happens to be his wife.
Tooned-in is back
After a break from the anchor desk, Tooned-in is relaunching with new episodes. The best way to support the show, and see every episode first, is to join on Patreon.
